You've become a great Divemaster and got lots of experience in managing different dive situations and being an instructional assistant - if you like teaching - now might be the time to take the next step on the Professional ladder and become an Open Water Scuba Instructor.

deep 6 diving Jervis Bay is able to offer the professional rating of Assistant Instructor to those Divemasters wishing to progress into the challenging role of teaching.
This program is the second step in teaching you how to teach and is part of your professional career development towards obtaining the status of Open Water Scuba Instructor.

The Instructor Development Course (IDC) is an intense seven day program designed to develop your abilities as a teacher. It refines diving skills to demonstration level and teaches you how to best use instructional material.

Requirements for Assistant Instructor:

• Divemaster Certification
• Minimum 100 logged dives
• Current first aid / CPR certification
• Current Dive Medical
